Chocolate is good for you! Who says so? We say so !

Dark chocolate in particular has some positive health attributes.

In small doses, dark chocolate has what appears to be some minor positive health benefits. Cocoa is a good source of iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous and zinc. Its also rich in antioxidants which may help protect against cancer and other diseases. Studies suggest dark chocolate can reduce blood pressure over a short term period and help fight the battle against cardio vascular disease. Flavanols found in dark chocolate may also help with increased cognitive function. There are suggestions of other health benefits though other variables come into play and not all outcomes are the direct result of eaing chocolate so beaware of misleading claims! We do know that eating chocolate can make us happy which can’t be a bad thing. This is because dark chocolate contains phenylethylamine which results in a moderate increase in our happiness level . A guilty pleasure that can be enjoyed! Why not treat yourself!
